ABOUT ME

Hey there, I’m Jenna!

Most days you can find me...

in yoga pants, drinking matcha or a green juice, listening to a podcast or music, cleaning (it's stress relief for me! ) and snuggling with my son, Bryce, and Golden Retriever, Cashew. I’m a wife to my handsome husband, Tyler, and a Mom to my son and pup. I’m Holistic Nutritionist, entrepreneur, a homebody, but also a lover of travel, avocado toast connoisseur, dancer, foodie, an OCD organizer and always trying to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I believe we all have a mission and purpose in this world and that mine is educating women on the power of taking a holistic approach to their health and healing their gut.

I am mostly known for…

Gut health! I'm obsessed with helping women heal their chronic gut issues for good!

People often refer to me as…

NeNe (my middle name is Renee), Jenna Insane… that’s a story for another time!

I love serving the world by…

using my personal life experiences with stomach issues and with loved ones who have experienced cancer, to educate women on the power of taking a holistic approach to their health so they can feeling amazing from the inside out for years to come!

The things I am most passionate about in life are…

Food!, gut health, authentic and loyal relationships, good conversations, sharing things I love, travel, new experiences, human connection, health and disease prevention.

I help women…

who are looking to eliminate their chronic stomach issues without medication.

I am lucky to give them the gift of health…

by teaching them how strong their body is and how it has the ability to heal itself if given the right tools and the right environment to thrive in.

As a Holistic Nutritionist I’ve been featured in…

WGN Daytime Chicago, Lux & Concord, Lifelong Podcast, AFPA Grad of the Month, Raw Guru guest author.

When I’m not busy working  you can catch me…

doing yoga, traveling with my hubby –  my favorite trips we’ve ever taken are South Africa and the Maldives – exploring new restaurants in the city, reading (I'm a non-fiction girlie), spending time with friends and family, being in nature, and spending time at the lake.

If you’re dying to hear more, here are six things you might not know about me…

  1. I was a Private Chef for professional athletes in Chicago

  2. I have a tattoo

  3. My husband and I lived in London for 8 weeks together in college (prior to being married) and got to travel all over Europe

  4. I’ve swam with sharks

  5. I worked in advertising for 9 years prior to going full time with The Scrounge

  6. I can recite almost every line to F.R.I.E.N.D.S!  I’d consider myself most similar to Monica

The Official Stuff:

I’m a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Gut Health Expert, Private Performance Chef, and Entrepreneur who Coaches, Consults, and Mentors hardworking individuals, groups, professional athletes — and corporate teams — from across the U.S. on natural remedies, programs, and experiences as they take steps to eliminate chronic bloat, stomach, and gut health issues, without medication. From individuals to executive level leaders, and corporate teams, my work has impacted both the individual and organizational health and wellbeing.

My signature programs are inspired by my own journey, experiencing chronic health issues throughout my childhood and early adulthood and visiting countless specialists to no end. I instead pursued education, self reflection, and the concept of food as medicine to create a self-guided program and 1:1 coaching towards positive health outcomes and lasting change.

Much of my interest in expanding my footprint in the wellness community was a result of my blog, The Scrounge, a resource for on-the-go women to “scrounge together” cost-effective, tasty foods without sacrificing health.

Prior to transitioning my career into the wellness industry, I was an advertising executive, and ironically worked in pharmaceutical and healthcare advertising which taught me so much and also led me to where I am today in the holistic health space.

I hold a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and completed postgraduate studies and ongoing continuing ed with AFPA (accredited by AADP). â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹
