Wellness Tea

This tea is a great natural way to help support recovery when you are sick and to help reduce inflammation.


I made this the other day because my throat was feeling a little scratchy and this truly helped me so much!





Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric or 1 chunk of turmeric chopped into squares, skin removed

  • 1 chunk of ginger chopped into squares, skin removed

  • 1 whole lemon juiced

  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)

  • 1 pinch of pepper  helps with the bioavailability of the turmeric!

  • 1/2 an orange juiced 

  • 3 cups filtered water

  • 1 tbsp honey 


Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a pot except for honey

  • Heat over medium/low heat until warm

  • Pour through strainer into cup

  • Add honey

  • Enjoy!
